Here’s a suggested group tour…

  

                            NIAGARA FALLS AND TORONTO

                      (6 DAYS, 5 NIGHTS) 

                        

DAY 1  YOU MAY FLY TO BUFFAO OR BE COACHED FROM YOUR HOME CITY

Transfer to our coach and then cross the international border to the city of Niagara Falls, Ontario.  Dinner tonight is at the revolving Skylon Tower, about 300 feet above the falls.  We view the falls at night and enjoy a stroll on the promenade.  Overnight- Niagara Falls Ontario. 

DAY 2 AMERICAN SIDE OF THE FALLS

After breakfast we depart back over to the American side of the falls to visit the “Cave of the Winds”.  Here we down special raincoats and boots for our walk directly under the falls.  We have time to dry off and then visit the rest of Goat Island where we will view the thundering waters of Niagara.   A picnic lunch follows on Goat Island and then its off to view the American and Canadian power plants down river.  We visit the flower clock and then arrive back about 4PM for a rest just before dinner.  Overnight – Niagara Falls, Ontario
 

DAY 3 THE CANADIAN SIDE AND NIAGARA-ON-THE-LAKE

After breakfast we depart for the “Maid of the Mist” boat ride which will take us right up to the falls.  We then traverse the top of the Niagara Escarpment for an afternoon of lunch and shopping at the beautiful lakeside village of “Niagara-on-the-Lake.  Dinner follows and then a final nighttime viewing of the falls.  Overnight-Niagara Falls, Ontario. 

DAY 4 TORONTO

After breakfast, wee depart the Niagara Frontier for Toronto.  Depending on scheduling and time of year we stop at “Lock 3” on the Welland Canal for a viewing of an operating lock.  Here you will see a massive freighter raised or lowered 50 feet so it can bypass Niagara Falls and make its way from one great lake to another.  We arrive about noon for check in to our hotel.  The afternoon is available for shopping on Yonge Street.  We return back to our hotel for dinner.  Overnight- Toronto 

DAY 5 TORONTO

Today, we will enjoy a city tour of this beautiful city.   We will see the downtown and financial area, the Provincial Parliament buildings, and the University of Toronto.  In the afternoon we will tour the Casa Loma, the Castle in the middle of the city.   Dinner follows and then a possible show in the theatre district.  Overnight Toronto. 

DAY 6 TORONTO TO BUFFALO

We depart after breakfast for our journey back to Buffalo for our flight home.  If you are coaching, we continue with our coach ride back to your home town with dinner enroute. Note:  Two extra days can be added to this itinerary for a visit to Ottawa, the Capital of Canada.   Sights include, Parliament Buildings, changing of the Guards and city tour with a stroll along the beautiful Rideau Canal.
