Here’s a suggested group tour…

                     

                                                LONDON & ENGLAND

                                        (9 DAYS, 7 NIGHTS)

DAY 1  FLY THE POND

Enjoy your trans-Atlantic flight evening flight to London.
 

DAY 2  LONDON

Upon your arrival you will clear customs and transfer to your West End or City hotel.  There will be leisure time during the day to visit the famous Madame Tussauds wax museum or the Portobello Road flea market.
 

DAY 3  LONDON

After breakfast enjoy a few hours of free time and then its off to Windsor and famous Windsor Castle.  You will enjoy tea and English scones in the little shops adjoining the Queen’s summer and weekend residence.

Day 4  LONDON

We depart for an all day city tour of London. Included will be the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace, a visit to Westminster Abby and the famous “dreaded” Tower of London.  After dinner there is time for enjoying a fine London play. 

Day 5  OXFORD/STRATFORD/WARWICK CASTLE

Today we enjoy an entire day trip to these three exciting places. En route to “The North” we stop at Oxford University for tea, crumpets and those Oxford University sweat shirts.  Then its on to Stratford-on-avon where we will shop and enjoy lunch as well as visiting several Shakespeare historical sites.  Late in the afternoon we will visit Warwick Castle and then return to London town in the evening.
 

Day 6  SALISBURY/STONEHENGE/BATH

Once again another day trip takes us to “The West” country.  Our first stop is in Salisbury where we visit the 13^th Century Cathedral.  Next its on to visit the 4,000 year old stone pillars of Stonehenge on the Salisbury Plain.   In the afternoon enjoy the English countryside en-route to Bath.  Lunch and shopping in Bath follows with a visit to the ancient Roman baths and the Pump room.   We return to London in the late afternoon.
 

Day 7  FREE TIME

After breakfast enjoy your free time.  Perhaps a shopping spree on Bond Street or a visit to the world’s most unique store…..Harrod’s.  In the afternoon you might want to shop more at Knightsbridge or Kennsington.
 

Day 8  THE GREAT MUSEUMS

Today is free time on you own to visit the great museums of London or perhaps a London show.  Of the most popular museums are the British Museum, The National Gallery or if you are into modern art The Tate Gallery in Pimlico.
 

Day 9  DEPART FOR HOME

Say goodbye to “London Towne”.  After breakfast you will be transferred back to your London airport for your return trip “across the pond”.
